Beautiful bike route through Rotterdam, Bleiswijk, Berkel and Rodenrijs
In and around Rotterdam you can find a number of forests, polders and lakes that you can visit by bike. For example, the Kralingse bos with 300 hectares (about 300 soccer fields) is the largest, green recreational area in Rotterdam. The Bergse voorplassen are two peat lakes between two residential areas of Rotterdam. At the Zevenhuizerplas you will encounter the kingfisher, cormorant, heron and all kinds of reed birds, among others, or visit the swamp forest on the north shore. In short, hop on and experience nature north of Rotterdam!
